Practical Course of Landscape Management

This is my second for Landscape Management task :) I've tried to write it in English. hihi

The theme is: "How to implement agroforestry/integrated farming practices as landscape services in CIKARAWANG Village as the object of study"

Cikarawang village has a total area of 263 hectares and about 80% of the total area of the village are rice fields and farms. The rest is used for residential and other public facilities [1]. By land area of 194.6 hectares for agriculture, integrated farming systems and agroforestry are potential to be developed in Cikarawang village. Moreover, we know that integrated farming system has the advantage of both ecological and economic aspects, such as environmentally friendly, energy saving, and higher product diversification.

To implement the integrated farming systems, especially related landscape services, we must first determine the local resources. One of the ways the to implement that system is a Low External Input and Sustainable Agriculture (LEISA), which optimizes the utilization of natural and human resources that available in the village. For example, LEISA can be applied in the yard through intercropping; crop rotation; and so does crops cultivation, livestock, and fish that have a high economic value. Thus, besides providing a positive impact on the environment, the system can also improve the welfare of people in the village.

NB: sorry Sir if my English is not good
